For the first time in the Pe\u0161kera bay in Pore\u010d! Book the days from 18th<\/sup> to 20th<\/sup> June 2021.<\/p>\n

After a one-year break, Vinistra is finally returning to Pore\u010d. For the first time it’s 27th<\/sup> edition will take place from June 18th<\/sup> to 20th<\/sup> outdoors. The attractive Pore\u010d bay of Pe\u0161kera becomes the center of the wine world for three days. The summer atmosphere, beautiful Pore\u010d and top wines are the best invitation to your favorite wine event. Winemakers can\u2019t wait to meet wine lovers, business partners and guests. They say that the last wine-growing year was excellent, so they are announcing top-quality wines.<\/p>\n

A new date, a new location and the great joy of us winemakers that despite another uncertain year we will be able to organize our exhibition with the longest tradition in Croatia. The health and safety of visitors and winemakers comes first so all recommended epidemiological measures will be strictly adhered to. This is the most beautiful start of the summer season in Istria which we hope will be better than last year ” says Nikola Benvenuti, president of Vinistra, the association of winegrowers and winemakers of Istria.<\/p>\n

As an introduction to the 27th<\/sup> Vinistra, an evaluation of wine and spirits was held in April. Out of 252 wines, 131 won a gold medal, with special emphasis on the best wines of indigenous varieties of Istria: the best young Malvasia Istriana, from Denis Bernobi\u0107 from Vi\u0161njan; best ripe Malvasia Istriana, Malvasia Collina, Vina Cattunar from Brtonigla; the best young Teran Barbarossa, Tomaz from Motovun; the best mature Teran, Santa Lucia Teran, Kozlovi\u0107 from Momjan and the best mature Refo\u0161k, Vinakoper from Koper – Slovenia. Large gold medals with scores higher than 92 points were won by the wines of the Muscat, Muscat Blanc and Merlot varieties. As many as 45 golden wines came from the World of Malvasia. The Istrian quality label – IQ was awarded to 24 winemakers of Malvasia Istriana and 7 winemakers of Teran wines. The IQ label indicates high quality wines with criteria above the statutory criteria for premium wines. We are looking forward to meeting you in Pore\u010d in Pe\u0161kera bay with excellent wines from the 27th<\/sup> Vinistra!<\/p>\n
